Cardiovascular Disease Prevention: Improving outcomes in primary care
Publication date: Thursday, 22 February 2018
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains a significant cause of disability and death in the UK, and it is also a key driver of health inequalities. This issue sets out how to take practical action in primary care to tackle unwarranted variation in the diagnosis and treatment of high-risk CVD conditions, including atrial fibrillation, hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and chronic kidney disease.
